Women are always at the receiving end in the Indian society. In every sphere of life they are denied their social, cultural, economic, legal, political and religious rights. College being a knowledge hub has within itself the responsibility of creating social sensitivity and awareness among students. Keeping in the view of vision and mission and values of our college, we have instituted the women empowerment cell. It aims at intellectual and social uplift of the women students. The cell stands for facilitating women empowerment through guest lectures, seminars, awareness programmes, inter class competitions and other welfare activities.

• To ignite the power in girls by teaching them the skills to thrive and believe in their ability to be unstoppable.
• To encourage female students to be self- reliant and economically Independent.
• To instill positive self esteem and confidence in the female students so that they can take  right decisions in their lives.
• Spreading awareness among the students about the legal and constitutional rights of women.

• To help the students to change their mindset and attitudes towards life in terms of women.
• To encourage greater participation and to develop responsible and value oriented leadership in female students.
• To create awareness, import  values and develop the personality and leadership quality in members.
• To create awareness about the social problems faced by women and to work for the uplift of women
