- II M.A. English Students released a Documentary Film “The Third Eye” under the guidance of Centre for Development and Communication, Dhan Foundation.
- Students of Science Departments won the Best College Award, in Science Mela 2011 organized by Ananda College, Devakottai.
- S. Bharathi from Research Centre of Tamil cleared the NET Examination and P.Dhanalakshmi of the same Department cleared both NET & JRF successfully.
- Ms. Soundarya Sridharan, II B.A. Economics have been selected to participate in the “Study of the U.S. Institute for Student Leaders on Women’s Leadership” hosted by, Auburn, Washington from June 25 to July 31, 2011.
- Ms. Chellam Chokalingam, II BCA & Ms. Jenifer Ayyappa Raja, II B.A. English have been selected to participate in the year 2011 – 2012, Near East and South Asia Undergraduate Exchange Program in U.S.A. organized by U.S. Department of State, U.S.A.
- Eight Hockey players have been selected to participate in an International Hockey Tournament in Malaysia.
